Founder and CEO

Maria has enjoyed a multifaceted career spanning investment banking, consulting, technology, and executive search. A proud alumna of Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Finance, she embarked on a successful career in Investment Banking. Here, she sharpened her skills in business analysis, advisory, and client relationship management rising to the rank of Vice President.

Transitioning to the tech sector, Maria built and led a sales organization for a high-growth, private equity-backed technology company. With responsibility for talent acquisition and training, Maria discovered her passion and aptitude for recruiting.

Pivoting with purpose, Maria embraced her newfound passion for executive search, founded and managed two successful executive search firms. Her quest for mastery in the domain culminated when Accenture, a titan in the global IT and Management Consulting arena, enlisted her to craft an in-house executive search division. As their Executive Recruiting Practice Leader, Maria executed all Partner and Managing Director hires, curated an accomplished executive search team, and laid down an exhaustive onboarding blueprint for incoming executive hires.

With experiences both diverse and deep, Maria’s proficiency in executive search is backed by extensive business insights and acumen. Her journey, filled with both challenges and triumphs, underlines her expertise in the executive recruitment landscape.

Ian McCulloh

Ian McCulloh

Senior Advisor - Analytics, Data Science and AI

Ian McCulloh is the founder and Chief Technology officer for Arrow Analytics. His current work demonstrates that a deep understanding of human behavior is essential to unlocking the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and to apply data science effectively. He also maintains adjunct faculty appointments at Johns Hopkins University in the Public Health and Computer Science. His most recent academic papers have been focused on reducing human bias through AI and social media analytics. He is the author of “Social Network Analysis with Applications” (Wiley: 2013), “ISIS in Iraq: Understanding the Social and Psychological Foundations of Terror” (Oxford: 2023), “Networks Over Time” (Oxford: forthcoming) and has published over 88 peer-reviewed academic papers.

Prior to joining Arrow, McCulloh served as Accenture’s Chief Data Scientist and managing director of the Federal Applied Intelligence practice which he grew from 50 people to over 800 without acquisition, delivering some of the most advanced applications of AI and machine learning to drastically improve services for citizens in need, improving speed, equity, and outcomes. McCulloh also served as an associate professor at Johns Hopkins and chief scientist of the Cyber Warfare Systems Group at the University’s Applied Physics Laboratory.

McCulloh retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service with expertise in social network analysis, special operations and improvised explosive device forensics. During his military tenure, he founded the West Point Network Science Center and created the Army’s Advanced Network Analysis and Targeting (ANAT) program. In addition, he led interdisciplinary teams of scientists at Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) and Central Command (CENTCOM) to conduct global, data-driven, social science research to inform strategy for countering extremism and assessing military operations.

McCulloh holds a Ph.D. and Master’s degree from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science, Masters degrees in Industrial Engineering and Applied Statistics
from the Florida State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington.

Aaron Faulkner

Senior Advisor - Cybersecurity

Aaron brings 23 years of experience in the delivery of advanced technology and cybersecurity solutions to public-sector and commercial customers. Through his career he has tackled critical cybersecurity challenges in digital identity, cyber defense, application security, and managed security services.

Aaron is the former managing director of the Accenture Federal Services (AFS) cybersecurity practice across the US Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Public Safety, Civilianand Health sectors. He led the design, development, delivery, and operation of innovative cybersecurity solutions for clients with wide-ranging missions. Prior to joining AFS, Aaron served as vice president of cybersecurity and the lead executive responsible for growth and delivery of cybersecurity solutions at ECS. He also served as chief strategy officer and vice president for business development at InfoReliance. In 2017 he led the launch of TYCHON, a cybersecurity endpoint systems management and continuous monitoring platform built for enterprise and mission customers in critical infrastructure, government, and defense.

Aaron received his bachelor of specialized studies in business administration and marketing communications from Ohio University and certificate in Cybersecurity Strategy from Georgetown School of Continuing Studies.
